In accordance with "the Action Plan for 2026–2028 on Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan", another service of the Ministry of Justice has been integrated into the “mygov” platform to increase the accessibility of digital services provided to citizens through a unified platform.
Thus, the Ministry of Justice’s “Application for Issuance of a Passport to a Minor” service has now also been integrated into the “mygov” platform. Through this service, it is possible to formalise electronically the notarised consent of a parent, adoptive parent, guardian or custodian required for the issuance of a general civil passport to persons under the age of 18. This option is particularly convenient in cases where one of the parents is unable to physically participate in the process.
To use the service, the citizen should enter the “Services” section of the “mygov” application and select the “Application for Issuance of a Passport to a Minor” service under the “Family” category.
Upon accessing the service, information available in the system regarding the citizen’s children is automatically displayed on the screen. If the information is not displayed, the citizen may enter the child’s details manually.
The citizen then reviews the application and enters the required information. At the next stage, the information is verified by a notary through video verification. Following payment, the process of electronically formalising the consent application is completed.
Users may track the status of their application through the “History” section of the service.
This service does not constitute a direct application for the issuance of a passport. It only enables the electronic formalisation of the notarised consent application required for the issuance of a passport.
It should be noted that, in addition to the aforementioned service, five services of the Ministry of Justice related to various life events, eight services related to notarial activities, as well as services for translation and the provision of information on enforcement cases concerning individuals, have also been integrated into the “mygov” platform.
