In line with the 2026–2028 Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and with the aim of improving public access to digital services through a unified platform, two additional services of the Ministry of Justice have been integrated into the mygov platform.
Accordingly, the "Certification of a Power of Attorney Issued to a Lawyer" and "Issuance of a Power of Attorney for the Use of Banking Services" services are now available through both the my.gov.az portal and the mygov mobile application.
Through the "Issuance of a Power of Attorney for the Use of Banking Services" service, an individual may authorize another person to carry out banking transactions on their behalf, including opening a bank account, withdrawing funds from an account, making transfers, and performing other banking operations.
The "Certification of a Power of Attorney Issued to a Lawyer" service enables an individual to certify the authority granted to a lawyer to act on their behalf in legal matters, including representation before courts and the performance of other legal acts.
To use these services, users should access the "Services" section of the mygov application. The "Power of Attorney for Banking Services" service is available under the "Employment" category, while the "Power of Attorney for a Lawyer" service can be found under the "Personal" category. After entering the required information, the power of attorney is issued to the designated person.
Users may track the status of their applications through the "Application History" section and access the document once it has been issued.
It should be noted that, in addition to these services, the Ministry of Justice has already integrated into the mygov platform five services related to various life events, six services related to notarial activities, as well as services for translation and the provision of information on enforcement proceedings involving natural persons.
