A swearing-in ceremony has been held for young soldiers called up for active military service at the Guard Regiment of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
Following the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan was ceremonially brought to the centre of the parade ground to the accompaniment of a military march. Flowers were laid at the memorial to the martyrs, and their cherished memory was honoured with a minute of silence.
After the young soldiers solemnly took the Military Oath, the congratulations and recommendations of Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov were conveyed to them.
During the ceremony, the young soldiers, who pledged allegiance to the Motherland, the people and the State, stated that they are always ready to carry out the orders of Ilham Aliyev, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and will maintain discipline.
The ceremony concluded with a solemn march-past by the personnel.
