Today, the independent state of Azerbaijan, a masterpiece of the Great Leader, is living the glorious days of its history thanks to the resolution of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, his invincible military courage and diplomatic skills. Our native Karabakh, our ancestral lands, which have been held captive by the hated Armenian occupiers for almost 30 years, are being liberated by our victorious army and our territorial integrity is being restored under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
On the eve of the National Flag Day, a symbol of our national independence, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice on the occasion of the historic day of our Victory by liberating Shusha – a symbol of victory of our nation.
First, flowers were laid in front of the bust of the national leader Heydar Aliyev at the ministry and his memory was commemorated with deep respect.
Mr. Fikrat Mammadov, the Minister of Justice congratulated the staff on the Flag Day and glorious Victory of the brave Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
The Minister noted that, thanks to the bravery and heroism of our servicemen, the liberation of Shusha from the enemy was a turning point in our struggle, more than 300 settlements and heights were liberated from occupation. He stressed that, the head of our state honorably fulfilled the most important will of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, his statement "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" has become a symbol of our victory on this historic day.
The event commemorated the memory of the sons of the Native land who died for the liberation of our native lands held by the Armenian occupiers and for the restoration of our territorial integrity with a minute of silence.
Justice workers born in Shusha and other liberated areas shared their joy and expressed their gratitude to the President and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for giving our people an unforgettable and immeasurable sense of pride.
It was noted that our people, including justice workers and judges, who are closely united around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief with great enthusiasm, by demonstrating solidarity with the head of our state and our army giving us victories, are very glad and happy that our tricolour flag will be raised everywhere in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The meeting adopted an appeal on behalf of justice workers and judges to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
