Under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr.Ilham Aliyev, the Patriotic War ended with the glorious victory of our people, our victorious army defeated the Armenian occupying forces, liberated our native lands, which we have longed for 30 years, and restored our territorial integrity. The strength, power and glorious victories of the brave Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War will be once again demonstrated to the whole world in a military parade on December 10.
During this glorious period, in his interviews with the world's leading media, the head of state, with his resolute will and diplomatic skills, bankrupted Armenia, as well as in the information space, and completely exposed the false propaganda of the enemy. The patriotic appeals of the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the fair struggle of our people served to comprehensively and fully inform the international community about the aggressive policy of the enemy and the war crimes committed against our country.
Demonstrating solidarity with our state, people and army, the justice workers have also worked purposefully in this area. The ministry addressed about 400 appeals to foreign justice ministers and influential international organizations with which it cooperates or supports, regarding the realities of Armenia's aggression, war and crimes against humanity.
Mr. Fikrat Mammadov, a Minister of Justice, as a senator and honorary member of the organization, has sent a new appeal on liberation of our lands to the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), the only union of world prosecutors.
In an appeal addressed to the IAP President, Secretary General, Senators and members of the Executive Committee, it was noted that, Armenia, which for many years grossly violated international law and ignored the implementation of the decrees of UN Security Council and other influential international organizations, reconciled with the defeat caused by the Azerbaijani Army in military operations and were forced to withdraw its occupying forces from our lands, realizing that compliance with the norms was inevitable.
It was noted that the head of state, always being a supporter of peace, immediately stopped military operations as soon as he announced that Armenia was ready to leave our lands. Thus, with the victory of historical justice, our lands were cleared of invaders, three important regions - Aghdam, Kalbajar and Lachin - were returned politically, without bloodshed, and our people, including about 750,000 IDPs, were reunited with their ancestor lands.
The attention of IAP members was drawn to the atrocities committed by the aggressor enemy in our liberated territories, and especially there was noted the complete destruction of our lands, the destruction of all infrastructure, the destruction of our historical, cultural and religious heritage, and other illegal acts prohibited by the international law.
In this regard, in order to ensure peace, security and prosperity in the region, the Azerbaijani government has begun large-scale construction works to restore these areas, including the construction of roads to Shusha and other liberated areas. It was stressed that the destroyed cities and villages will be restored and re-developed.
Beginning of restoration-construction and improvement works in our liberated lands under the leadership of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as well as beginning of the project on the restoration of our religious monuments and mosques by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the initiative of the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva creates a certainty that our lands will be revived and that life will soon return there.
