Improvement of the social protection and welfare of the participants of the Patriotic War is one of the main priorities of the activity of the President of the country, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, which covers the servicemen and families of martyrs with comprehensive state care. The visit of the President and First Vice President of the Republic Mehriban Aliyeva to our wounded servicemen and their interest in their care was a source of great enthusiasm and consolation.
At the same time, our people have shown solidarity with our state and army, and benevolent steps have been taken to meet the necessary needs of our servicemen.
Justice workers and judges, who are closely united around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, also supported our army during this glorious period and voluntarily transferred funds from their salaries to a special fund.Doctors of the ministry's medical service also provided necessary medical care to the wounded during the war, blood donation campaigns were held in the justice and judicial authorities, and the ministry's staff regularly visited our servicemen treated in military hospitals and presented gifts.
At the same time, about 100 members of the justice and judicial authorities participated in military operations, including as volunteers, and necessary assistance and moral support was provided the to the wounded and the families of martyrs.
By the Decree of the President dated 08.12.2020, the YASHAT Foundation was established for the purpose of realizing civil society initiatives to provide additional support to the measures taken by the state on provision of the wounded and families of martyrs died for defense of territorial integrity, and various organizations, individuals and legal entities made voluntary donations to the fund.
Justice workers and judges, being always in solidarity with our state, people and army, have transferred 1,000,000 (one million) manats from their salaries to the YASHAT Foundation.
