In order to ensure the safety and protect the health of the population, comprehensive measures are being taken in our country to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. The Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers has identified the necessary social isolation measures, advised citizens to stay away from public places and closed spaces, and instructed government agencies to accept citizens' appeals only electronically and by telephone, and provide mobile services if possible.
In this regard, the Ministry of Justice recommended the population to apply for services in the field of registration and notary only in urgent cases. Relevant services, including marriage registration, will be provided to those who apply directly to the Ministry, taking into account social isolation measures. No solemn wedding ceremonies are held during this period.
It is stated that citizens can apply for justice services through the "Contact for Citizens" and "Interactive Contact" sections of the ministry's official website: - In the section "Contact for citizens" (https://justice.gov.az/home/contact) there are contact means of the ministry, as well as registration and notary bodies and an electronic application form;
- It is possible to answer questions online through the "Interactive contact" section (https://justice.gov.az/categories/1035).
At the same time, the e-services department of the ministry (www.exidmet.justice.gov.az) operates to use justice services electronically.
Citizens can get additional information about e-services, including the personal identification number of a citizen, as well as foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan by calling telephone number (012) 525-40-40.
