In order to improve state management and regulation in the field of forensic expertise, ensure compliance of forensic expertise activities with international standards, as well as to develop unified standards in the relevant field and promote their application, and strengthen human resources, the Forensic Expertise Council was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 243 dated August 7, 2024, operating on an advisory basis.
