The Ministry of Justice conducts educational and research activities:

Trains qualified personnel for the judiciary, prosecutor’s office and judicial bodies, and advocacy;

Provides legal training for justice workers without higher legal education;

Researches conceptual problems for the development of justice and judicial bodies, advocacy;

Conducts fundamental, experimental and applied scientific researches in various fields of legal science;

Organizes additional education of justice workers, lawyers, as well as additional education of employees working in various fields in the legal profession;

Conducts mandatory training of candidates admitted to the judiciary for the first time, as well as candidates for advocacy, and conducts initial long-term training of candidates for the position of judge.
The above-mentioned activities are carried out by the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice.
