The Ministry of Justice conducts educational and scientific research activities:
• Trains qualified personnel for the justice and judicial bodies, prosecutor’s office, and advocacy;
• Provides legal training for justice employees without higher legal education;
• Researches conceptual problems for the development of justice and judicial bodies, advocacy;
• Conducts fundamental, experimental and applied scientific researches in various fields of legal science;
• Organizes additional education of justice employees, lawyers, as well as additional education of employees working in various fields in the legal profession;
• Conducts mandatory training of candidates admitted to the justice bodies for the first time, as well as candidates for advocacy, and conducts initial long-term training of candidates for the position of judge.
The above-mentioned activities are carried out by the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice.
