 The Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was established by the Decree No. 2199 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 13, 2016 “On additional measures to increase the favorable business environment in the Republic of Azerbaijan and further improve the position of our country in international ratings”.

 The purpose of establishing the Commission is to create a business environment that will ensure optimal profitability of entrepreneurial activity and will be based on the principles of competition, to increase the country's investment attractiveness, to improve legislation and administration, and to achieve the implementation of other necessary measures in this direction in order to further improve Azerbaijan's position in international ratings.

 The Ministry of Justice manages the “Working Group on Dispute Resolution, Judicial System and Rule of Law” and the “Working Group on Business Bankruptcy” within the Commission.
