Museum of the History of Justice of Azerbaijan

The order on the establishment of the Museum of the History of Justice of Azerbaijan was signed on August 16, 2001, and the museum was opened on November 22, 2001 - the professional holiday of justice workers. The museum's exposition, consisting of two halls and 20 sections, consists of more than 700 documents, objects, models, postage stamps, orders-medals and other exhibits, including 340 photographs. The museum displays documents and exhibits reflecting various stages of the history of justice in Azerbaijan, including documents related to the establishment and activities of the Ministry of Justice, the Regulations of the Ministry adopted by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated November 22, 1918, and other official materials. It also presents a list of all ministers of justice and people's commissars of justice since 1918. The process of collecting documents and materials of historical and scientific importance for the museum continues today.
Heydar Aliyev Museum

The museum is dedicated to the dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The museum's exposition displays photographs from Heydar Aliyev's childhood and youth, rare shots taken with his family, as well as documents and images reflecting various stages of his political activity. One of the main sections of the museum is archival documents. Documents from Heydar Aliyev's school and university years, honorary decrees and awards received at various times are exhibited here. The exposition also presents facts about the important changes that took place in the socio-political and economic life of Azerbaijan during the leadership of the Great Leader, as well as pictures and documents reflecting his high reputation in the international arena. Photographs reflecting the meetings of the Great Leader with leaders of various countries also form an important part of the exposition. In total, the museum consists of one exhibition hall, 15 sections, archival documents and 138 photographs.
