Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Ahmadov met with Minister of Justice of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi during his working visit to Abu Dhabi.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and mutually trusting relations between the two countries, including cooperation in the field of justice. The special importance of the relations based on friendship and mutual respect between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in strengthening these ties was emphasized.
During the meeting, it was noted that relations between the Ministries of Justice of Azerbaijan and the UAE have intensified, with cooperation in the areas of extradition and mutual legal assistance producing particularly effective results.
The meeting reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the field of justice, and an exchange of views was held on new opportunities for cooperation, the expansion of the legal framework, and prospects for future cooperation.
