Employees of the Ministry of Justice, judges and court staff participated in the international training programme entitled "The Judicial Crafting: Executive Judicial Training Programme", which was held in Baku.
The training programme was organized within the framework of the Cooperation Programme signed between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Law and Justice of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The agreement on organizing the programme was reached during the official visit of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov, to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 14–15 May this year. The initiative served to further expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice and to promote the exchange of professional experience.
Presentations were delivered and discussions were held by members of the delegation headed by Aqeel Malik, State Minister for Law and Justice of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, officials of the International Mediation and Arbitration Centre, the Secretary General of the Arbitration Centre of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other experts.
The programme brought together more than 20 participants, including employees of the Ministry of Justice, judges and court staff.
It was noted that the next international training programme within the framework of the Cooperation Programme is scheduled to be held in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in October this year.
The training programme was of significant importance in expanding the exchange of knowledge and professional experience between the justice and judicial authorities of the two countries, strengthening professional ties, and fostering institutional cooperation.
