On May 17 the vice-minister of Justice Toghrul Musayev received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan Mrs. Carole Mary Crofts at her instance.
The vice-minister, noting the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, reminded the visit of the President Ilham Aliyev to the Great Britain last year and noted the importance of mutual visits in development of bilateral relations.
He noted the intensive judicial-legal reforms in our country and informed about the exclusive significance and works made on execution of the Decree of the head of state “On deepening of the reforms in the judicial-legal system” on April 3, 2019 and emphasized the large perspectives of the mutual activity in legal field.
The Ambassador said that, Azerbaijan had passed speedy development way during a short time and she was the witness of positive changes in activity period, she noted that, the visit of our head of state to the United Kingdom was very productive, she was interested in development of cooperation in different fields, expressed surety in increase of these relations to new stage after “Brexit”, and made exchange of ideas on the next meeting of the Joint Inter-Government Commission to be held in London on economic cooperation between two countries.
She also told about the realized joint projects, noting the successful holding of reforms in economic and other fields, and expressed her will on enlargement of relations in the field of justice.
Other mutually interested issues were discussed in the meeting held under the cordial conditions.
