On July 12, the Competition Commission of the Ministry of Justice, jointly with the State Examination Center, conducted a test exam for admission to the position of State Enforcement Officer.
Candidates were presented with a total of 100 questions – 60 questions on legislation applied in the activities of State Enforcement Officer, and 40 questions designed to assess logical reasoning abilities, general knowledge level, worldview, and communication skills. Each question on legislation was valued at 1 point, while each question on logical reasoning, general knowledge, worldview, and communication skills was valued at 0.5 points, and the passing score was set at 55.
In Baku and the regions, 251 out of 523 candidates who participated in the exam succeeded and earned the right to proceed to the next stage. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 52 out of 104 candidates passed the test. After completing the exam, candidates had the opportunity to view their scores immediately.
Those who successfully passed the test stage, as well as individuals exempt from the test who wish to take part in the interview, are required to submit the documents specified in paragraph 2.7 of the "Rules for conducting the competition and compulsory training for admission to position of the State Enforcement Service in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan" within 15 working days, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, to the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Justice (address: Baku, Inshaatchilar Avenue 1).
Candidates whose submitted documents meet the requirements set out in the Law "On Service in Judicial Bodies" will be allowed to participate in the second stage of the competition – the interview.
An Appeals Commission will operate regarding the exam results on July 13–15, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the main administrative building of the State Examination Center (address: Baku, Nasimi district, Academician Hasan Aliyev Street, 299).
