Special attention is paid to the increase of the level of professionalism of the judges and other lawyers within the framework of the assignments of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev on improving the efficiency of justice, continuous educational trainings are organized in the Academy of Justice on human rights, struggle against criminality and other actual subjects, including trainings via video-conference with the use of distant training forms. Exchange of experience is also made by useful cooperation with a number of countries in this field.
There was held a video-conference in the Academy on the theme of “Budapest Convention on Cybercrime” within the framework of implementation of the Memorandum “On Cooperation between the Academy of Justice and National School of Judges of Ukraine”.
The judge of the Supreme Court, head of the Educational Sector of the Judicial-Legal Council Ilgar Khalafov and pro-rector of the National School of Judges of Ukraine Anatoliy Kostenko made opening speech in the event, which was attended by the judges, public prosecutors and officials of the Academy. They noted the importance of learning good experience in distant training held through effective cooperation and appliance of more quick training method via video-conference and emphasized the actuality of the problems on bilateral and regional cooperation on struggle against cybercrime in modern period.
The lectures were listened in the video-conference on the themes “Implementation (application) of Budapest Convention on Cybercrime in Ukraine” of the candidate of law Natalia Ahtirskaya, the associate professor of the department of Justice judgement of the Law faculty of Kiev State University named after Taras Shevchenko, research worker of the National School of Judges of Ukraine and “Mechanism of application of Budapest Convention on Cybercrime: pre-trial investigation and forensic experience” of the director of the department of the School, candidate of law Alexander Ishenko. There were made interesting discussions, exchange of ideas and the questions of the listeners were answered in clear form.
Participants of the event noted the effectiveness of organization of distant trainings on contemporary and actual subjects in increasing their knowledge and skills.
