According to the commissions of the President Ilham Aliyev about rendering worthy services to the people by the state organizations, careful and sensible approach towards the citizens’ addresses, appointment of the citizens in the regions is paid special attention by the Ministry of Justice and the ministry’s leadership holds regular mobile receptions in the regions.
On February 5, the Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov received the citizens from Ismayilli, Gabala, Goychay, Shamakhi, Oghuz and Aghdash regions in Ismayilli region Heydar Aliyev Centre.
Before the appointment, the minister visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Ismayilli region, put flowers and expressed his deep respect for his dear memory.
During the reception each citizen was listened attentively, part of the problems mentioned in the addresses was solved at place, and other problems were committed to the relative officials of the ministry to be considered by them.
Local population expressed their gratitude to the head of state for his attention and care.
During the visit, the minister was familiarized with the activities and working conditions of local justice and judicial authorities and met with the justice officials and judges of the region.
The Minister spoke about the measures taken to improve justice and judicial activity in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the head of state, noting that the Presidential Decree on Deepening Judicial and Legal Reform, dated April 3, 2019, is an important "road map" in this area, as well as noted the issues related to modernizing judicial activity, improving the efficiency of justice, enhancing public trust and transparency in the judiciary, and ensuring the proper implementation of new legislative acts related to the formation of a uniform judicial practice.
The Minister, at a conference on the results of socio-economic development of our republic held by the head of state on February 3, highlighting the tasks given on ensuring transparency, eliminating abuse and arbitrariness, providing decent
services to people, stressed that citizens’ satisfaction is increased, ethical rules of conduct are complied with, abuse and corruption is prevented.
