According to the commissions of the President Ilham Aliyev, on the 20th of December, the Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov received the citizens from Naftalan, Goranboy, Tartar and other regions in Naftalan Heydar Aliyev Centre.

Before the appointment, the minister visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Naftalan city, put flowers and expressed his deep respect for his dear memory.

During the reception, the addresses on justice activity were considered, each citizen was listened attentively, part of the problems mentioned in the addresses was solved at place, and other problems were committed to the relative officials of the ministry to be considered by them.

The citizens expressed their satisfaction for comfortable and effective conditions made for reception and consideration of the addresses by the President.

During the visit the minister of justice got acquainted with the activity of justice and court authorities and met with justice officials and judges of near regions.

The minister speaking at the meeting told about the works made on execution of the Decree of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev “On deepening of the reforms in the judicial-legal system” on April 3, 2019, which is an important “road map” for justice and judiciary and emphasized the adoption of important laws on formalization of single judicial experience by the initiative of the head of state by making draft laws, as well as on improvement of activity on forensic expertise, establishment of Private forensic examination institute.

It was informed that, the possibility of this activity as alternative mechanisms of examination by the new law can be carried out by private forensic experts, as well as in scientific institutions and organizations, universities, testing laboratories and private legal entities accredited under the Conformity Assessment Act, and the requirements for doing this have been identified.

At the same time, the rules of recruitment of these persons for compulsory training organized by the Ministry of Justice, issuance of state or private forensic examination certificates or their cancellation, expert attestation and qualification degrees were established.

Amendments to the Decree, as well as to the Code of Administrative Offenses, Civil Code and Administrative Procedural Code, as well as to the Laws on “Administrative execution” and “Advocacy and Advocacy activity” have served to clarify the timing of expert opinions and to enhance the rights of trial participants.

It was emphasized that these progressive innovations aimed at speeding up the process of forming a highly respected justice in the society, including the establishment of a private expertise institute for the first time in Azerbaijan are an important step in this area, and it was said that it will increase the efficiency of expert activities, provide better and more affordable legal services to citizens and improve people's satisfaction.

The meeting focused on the proper and timely implementation of forthcoming tasks, including new provisions of the legislation, in-depth study of their essence and proper application.

At the same time, at the meeting held on December 19 by the Head of State, he highlighted the need for transparency, attentiveness to the people and state, worthy services to the citizens, emphasizing the constant care and sensitivity towards the people and healthy establishment of citizen-officer relations. He said that, compliance with ethic rules of conduct, prevention of abuse cases and corruption is one of the most important duties.
