The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov, met with a delegation led by Aqeel Malik, Pakistan’s State Minister for Law and Justice.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations have reached the level of strategic partnership, and it was noted that mutual visits and high-level meetings play an important role in further strengthening bilateral relations.

It was noted that a number of joint activities have been carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation and the Cooperation Programme, which contribute to the development of cooperation between the justice authorities, and that efforts in this direction are continuing.
In this regard, the importance of the training to be held in Baku was emphasized in terms of expanding the exchange of experience and knowledge between the justice authorities of the two countries, as well as further developing professional ties.
At the same time, gratitude was expressed to the Pakistani side for the high-level organization of the training held in Islamabad in May, and it was noted that another training session is planned to be held in Islamabad in October of this year.
Confidence was expressed that joint training sessions and other activities would contribute to the further expansion of cooperation between the justice authorities of the two countries. The meeting also included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest. It should be noted that Aqeel Malik visited Azerbaijan to participate in a training session to be held in Baku for judges, justice officials and court staff from Azerbaijan.
