According to the commissions of the President Ilham Aliyev about rendering worthy services to the people by the state organizations, careful and sensible approach towards the citizens’ addresses, appointment of the citizens in the regions is paid special attention by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the commissions of the head of state and schedule of appointment of the citizens in the regions, the Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov received the citizens in Sumgayit city on the 4th of July.
Before the appointment, the minister visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Sumgayit city, put flowers and expressed his deep respect for his dear memory.
During the reception each citizen was listened attentively, part of the problems mentioned in the addresses was solved at place, and other problems were committed to the relative officials of the ministry to be considered by them.
The citizens expressed their satisfaction for comfortable and effective conditions made for reception and consideration of the addresses and expressed their gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and care.
During the visit the minister of justice met with the justice officials and judges.
In the conference there were told about the works carried out this year on improvement of justice and judicial activity in accordance with the president’s commissions, forthcoming duties were discussed, and there were given recommendations on provision of execution and justness of court decisions, increase of citizens satisfaction, compliance with ethic rules of conduct, and prevention of corruption.
The Minister noting the exclusive importance of the Decree of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev “On deepening of the reforms in the judicial-legal system” stated that, this important document is the “road map” for future development of justice and judicial activity. He emphasized that, the reforms in this field passed to new development stage, the duties coming from the program-character Decree specifying legislative, institutional and practical measures were executed in time, honestly and irrevocably.
At the same time, he met with the course of construction of new court complex for 5 courts built in Sumgayit city within the framework of the project “Progressive justice services and modern court infrastructure” realized jointly with the World Bank and got interested with the problems. It is considered to distribute five-storied court building to public and administrative zones, as well as to install important infrastructure on appliance of “Electron court” information system. As well as, he got acquainted with the renewed infrastructure of legal institutes of Sumgayit city.
