On November 16, the Ministry of Justice held a tree-planting campaign within the framework of the range of events held on the occasion of the 22nd of November - the day of the professional holiday of justice officials.
The great leader Heydar Aliyev paid great importance to the protection of the environment, improvement of the ecological situation, especially greening in the country during the whole period of his leadership. To this end, large-scale and multifaceted programs have been adopted and targeted measures have been implemented. The ecological policy determined by the great leader today, with the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is bearing fruit. In recent years, large-scale tree-planting campaigns are realized. The participation of the Head of State and First Vice President of the Republic, the Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in these actions, and promotion of the Project "Join for the sake of nature, Unite for life!" initiated by the Foundation should be specifically mentioned.
In support of this careful and noble initiative of the country's leadership, the Ministry of Justice has joined actively the tree-planting campaign to launch a greening campaign to turn the environment into a green zone and provide a healthy life for citizens.
More than 1,000 different kinds of trees were planted and cleaning and improvement works were carried out on the same day in the action organized in Khazar district, Baku city, with the participation of the ministry's staff, as well as senior officials and young justice volunteers.
