According to the “National Activity Plan for 2017-2019 on struggle against financing of terrorism and legalization of cash means or other property gained through crime” approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, there were held trainings for civil society on the theme of “Obligations of the non-governmental organizations in struggle against dirty money laundering and financing of terrorism” by the Ministry of Justice in Ganja city.
The attenders were read lectures on preparation of internal control system of non-governmental organization, appointment of the official and internal auditor, identification, verification of the clients and on other subjects and presentations were held at the event.
The training was attended by the officials of the Ministry of Justice, member of the Public Committee at the Minister of Justice Alimammad Nuriyev as an expert and NGO representatives acting in that city and near regions.
Such events are planned to be organized in other regions by series.
