The state youth policy founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully implemented under the leadership of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Today, a new generation with healthy thought, morally pure and loyal to the ideas of statehood and patriotism has been formed in our country, and the role of youth in society and governance is growing.
Azerbaijani youth, closely united around the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, joined the army with great enthusiasm from the first day of the Patriotic War and showed heroism and courage for the liberation of Karabakh.
Our youth also joined the calls of the First Vice-President of the Republic Mehriban Aliyeva and demonstrated social activity in conveying the truth about our country, Armenia's policy of aggression and war crimes to the whole world.
The majority of employees in the judiciary are young. They are treated with special care, the issues on formation as a worthy civil servant, effective use of knowledge, skills and potential are always in the center of attention. Great importance is attached to the development of young justice workers and volunteers in the spirit of statehood, loyalty to national and moral values and patriotism, as well as awareness-raising in this area.
Young justice and court officials and volunteers also took part in the 44-day victory march, which was led by the wise and invincible leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
In connection with the proclamation of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Presidential Decree signed on January 5, an event on "Humanism and patriotic ideas of the Great Nizami" was held in video format by presence of young justice workers and volunteers in the Ministry of Justice on February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day for the purpose of calling youth to moral maturity and teaching them high moral qualities. Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Azizagha Najafzada, who was invited to the event, noted that the announcement of "Nizami Ganjavi Year" was a clear manifestation of the state's
great attention and care for our classical literary and cultural heritage. He brought to the attention of the young the importance of studying and promoting the rich creativity of the great Nizami.
He said that in all the works of Nizami, a humanist thinker of his time, including in "Khamsa", which stands at the peak of world poetic and philosophical thought, national prejudice, patriotism, statehood traditions, the principle of justice, moral values in the plot of each of his poems are still preserving actuality today.
The initiatives and proposals of young people were heard at the online event, and they were stressed to always be guided by the principles of justice, modesty and cultural behavior in their activities, and to take responsibility for the fulfilment of their duties. The youth united closely around the head of state and said they would work faithfully and persistently for the comprehensive progress of our homeland.
Youth Day was also celebrated in the structural units of the ministry, including an event organized by the Public Union "Justice Volunteers" through a video conference with young volunteers.
