Several more services of the Ministry of Justice have been integrated into “mygov”

The range of notarial services of the Ministry of Justice available on the “mygov” platform has been expanded with the aim of providing digital public services through a single platform.

Citizens can now use the “Issuance of a power of attorney for disposal of immovable property” service on “mygov” to authorise another person to exercise their powers in relation to immovable property. This includes authorising another person to carry out transactions involving the disposal, mortgaging and other disposal operations concerning the property.

The “Application for disposal of immovable property” service enables the owner’s consent to the transfer of certain rights and powers over immovable property to another person to be electronically formalised.

The owner can also use the “Application for registration at a place of residence” service to electronically confirm their consent on “mygov” for other persons to be registered at the relevant address.

In addition, through the “Issuance of a power of attorney for inheritance matters” service, citizens can electronically authorise another person to collect documents related to inheritance proceedings and formalise inherited property.

Two more services enabling the electronic formalisation of applications of various types have also been integrated into the “mygov” platform.

Through the “Free-form application” service, citizens can submit applications on “mygov” concerning other types of applications that are not submitted as notarial applications. To do so, the institution to which the application is to be addressed is selected first, followed by uploading the application text and the required documents to the system. Once the accuracy of the information has been confirmed and the payment process completed, the application is submitted electronically.

A citizen may electronically withdraw an application submitted previously through the “Application for withdrawal of an application” service. To do so, the application to be withdrawn is selected, the reason for withdrawal is indicated, and the accuracy of the information is verified. Once all stages have been completed, the application is electronically sent to the relevant institution.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Protection of Public Health”, the “Issuance of a power of attorney for purchasing medicines” service has also been integrated into the “mygov” platform to enable free-of-charge or preferential medicines to be obtained by another person trusted by the citizen. Under the service, the citizen’s eligibility to receive medicines on preferential terms is first verified through the system, after which the accuracy of the citizen’s information is confirmed. Once the payment process is completed, the application is submitted electronically.

All applications submitted through the above-mentioned services are formalised in accordance with notarial procedures.

Citizens can use the aforementioned services through both the my.gov.az portal and the “mygov” mobile application.

It should be noted that, with this, 5 services related to various life events and 16 services related to notarial activities of the Ministry of Justice, as well as services for providing translation and information on enforcement proceedings concerning individuals, have been integrated into the “mygov” platform.
