On July 22, 2020 it is marked the 145th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press. In this regard, by the Order signed by the President of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev on 30.06.2020 it was instructed to hold anniversary events in compliance with the special quarantine regime.
As part of the events dedicated to the anniversary, on the eve of July 22 - National Press Day, the winners of the journalistic research competition announced by the Ministry of Justice together with the Press Council of Azerbaijan will be awarded.
It is remembered that, on March 1 of this year the start was given to the contest on "Judicial and Legal Reforms: modern challenges and innovative practices", which was announced for the purpose of full, objective enlightenment and propagation of the works done on execution of the Presidential Decree “On deepening of the reforms in the judicial-legal system” on April 3, gained achievements and applied innovations in mass media.
However, due to the introduction of a special quarantine regime in our country in connection with the global pandemic COVID-19, the duration of the competition has been extended.
Those, wishing to join the competition, which will last until July 15, can get detailed information on the website of the ministry (https://justice.gov.az/news/1695). Participants can also send articles and other materials to the Ministry of Justice electronically (mojpress@justice.gov.az) in accordance with the terms of the competition.
