With the birth of the ten millionth citizen of our republic on April 6, 2019, Azerbaijan has become a leader not only among the former Soviet Union states and as well as among a number of European countries in terms of demographic development.
On occasion of this portentous event, the head of state Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the First vice-president Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated the Azerbaijan people and the baby’s parents and gave their blessings.
On April 10, the baby’s parents Rauf Hasanov and Nigar Ojagova came to the Registry Office of Narimanov district, Baku city of the Ministry of Justice and stated that, they wanted to name their first child as Mehriban in honour of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.
The parents noted that, the first lady of Azerbaijan was always sensitive towards mothers and children and expressed their gratitude to the head of state and his wife for their care towards them.
A birth certificate of the ten millionth citizen of Azerbaijan Mehriban Hasanova was solemnly presented to the parents in the Registry Office.
The parents were congratulated, they were presented a memorial present and their child was wished long life and successful future.
