The Ministry of Justice continues to take measures to expand remote services provided to the population. For this purpose, the "Mobile Notary" software, created by use of modern innovative methods, allows citizens to register the power of attorneys for driving vehicles or issued to the lawyers without applying to the notary office electronically via mobile phones. The number of power of attorneys issued electronically is the thousands.
Citizens eligible for free or discounted drug aid in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On protection of public health" may issue electronic power of attorney to other persons in real time through the new service applied from this day, in order to benefit from the state social program to get these drugs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without leaving their homes in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
The possibility of issuing a social power of attorney electronically is of particular importance for citizens over the age of 65, the main users of these services, who are restricted from leaving their homes to protect their health during the quarantine regime.
The "Social Power of Attorney", which was launched on April 7, 2020 and will benefit more than 100,000 people, can be used by citizens by downloading the free "Mobile Notary" application from the AppStore and PlayStore platforms, as well as by users by updating the program. It should be noted that, the service will be provided free of charge, by approaching sensitively to the situation of our citizens in the special quarantine regime.
