Mandatory online training for individuals seeking to work as private court experts began on 28 September at the Justice Academy of the Ministry of Justice.
A total of 22 candidates from various fields of higher education are participating in the training.
The training is being conducted by the academic staff of the Justice Academy of the Ministry of Justice and experienced experts from the Ministry’s Centre for Forensic Examination. The mandatory training programme covers theoretical and practical topics on the general requirements of legislation governing forensic examination activities, the procedures for preparing expert opinions, and the provisions of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
The training will continue until 22 October. Candidates who successfully complete the training will proceed to the next stage—the interview. Candidates who successfully pass the interview will be issued relevant certificates and included in the Register of Judicial Experts. Only thereafter will they be entitled to work as private court experts.
Alongside state forensic examination institutions, the commencement of activities by private court experts will contribute to optimising the workload in this field, expanding citizens’ options, ensuring more prompt delivery of services and, overall, making a positive contribution to the administration of justice.
