There was held a seminar on the theme of "Preparation and submission of Subventional Projects" for pilot municipalities on February 6 in the Centre for works with municipalities of the Ministry of Justice.
At the seminar, there was first told about the importance of allocation of subvention for municipalities in the Law “About the state budget for 2019”, and it was noted that, subvention funds will play an important role in improvement of financial capacities of the municipalities selected as a pilot on execution of the assignments given in subparagraph 9.3.1. of the Measures Plan of the “Strategic Road Map on production and processing of agricultural products in the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by the Decree of the President on December 6, 2016.
The participants were given detailed information about the documentation required for preparation of subvention projects, the rules for their preparation and submission, the state control over the use and use of subvention funds, the questions were answered, the information on the prepared projects was listened and was recommended to be submitted to the Ministry of Finance till the 15th of March for getting subvention.
The seminar was attended by heads of the Center for works with Municipalities, heads of the Business sector with local budget of the Ministry of Finance, representative of the German International Cooperation Society, independent experts, chairmen of pilot municipalities and members of the local budget commissions.
