There was held a meeting in the Ministry of Justice on September 12 with the delegation led by the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk province, Russian Federation Vasili Kozlov and Minister of Culture Svetlana Uchaykina.
At the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in various areas, exchanged views on the organization, activities and features of development of local self-government and emphasized the benefits of exchange of good experience in this field for both of the parties.
During the discussions, they showed interest in the works realized by the Ministry’s Center for works with municipalities on development of local democracy, increasing efficiency of municipalities’ activity, and they expressed mutual intention to expand relations in this area.
The respective officials of the Ministry of Justice and the heads of the national association of municipalities participated in the meeting.
