Wide-staff meeting of the Working group created with relate to execution of the works coming from the half-point 9.3.1 of the “Strategic Road Map about production and processing of agricultural products in the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by the Decree No. 1138 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 6, 2016 was held in the Center for works with Municipalities of the Ministry of Justice on the 21st of December.
Besides the members of the Working group, the representatives of the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture, regional justice administrations, national associations of the municipalities, as well chairmen and experts of pilot municipalities also participated in the meeting.
The offers made with relate to establishment of development model of the village, the matters on involvement of investments in the territories of pilot municipalities, the possibilities of allocation of other financial sources, as well as credits and subventions, getting of grants, improvement of collection of taxes and payments in pilot municipalities, increase of transparency were discussed in the meeting.
There was given broad information about the project for preparation of “Local development plans” realized with joint cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and German International Cooperation Society (GIZ) by financial support of the European Union, as well as about Villages Activity Plan presented by the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency at the Ministry of Agriculture, it was considered advisable to use these projects and formed practice in establishment of the village’s development model.
Measures to be realized with relate to establishment of the village’s development model were defined by the decision passed by the Working group, as well as the Work Plan for 2019 of the Working group was approved.
There was held in the meeting the presentation of the book “Collection of documents about legislation with relate to participation of municipalities in development of entrepreneurship” prepared by the Center for works with municipalities and published by financial support of GIZ and it was delivered to the participators.
