On December 12, the leadership of the Ministry of Justice visited the Alley of Honors, visited the grave of the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state, national leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers at the monument and paid tribute to the great leader. Flowers were also laid at the grave of the Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
In connection with the anniversary of the Great Leader's death, events were held in the judiciary in accordance with a special quarantine regime, a basket of flowers was laid in front of the bust of the eternal leader in the ministry, and his memory was commemorated.
Mr. Fikrat Mammadov, the Minister of Justice spoke about the rich statehood of national leader Heydar Aliyev, his important contribution to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. He stressed that the Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the country, Supreme Commander-in-Chief honorably fulfilled the Great Leader's will by liberating our lands occupied by Armenia for 30 years due to the heroism of our army and the solidarity of our people.
He also stated that, the Victory Parade held on December 10 with the participation of the head of our state and President of Turkey Mr. Rejep Tayyip Erdogan, demonstrated the military and economic power of our country, the strength of our army and the determination of our people to win, as well as demonstrated to the whole world the inviolability of the ever-developing Azerbaijan - Turkey brotherhood under the slogan "One Nation, Two States" and that the great spirit of the Great Leader was happy.
It was noted at the event that, construction works had begun in our liberated lands under the leadership of the President, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, led by the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva and implementing the ideas of the Great Leader, is implementing a project to restore our religious monuments and mosques, and they expressed confidence that our lands will be revived and life will soon return there.
Justice workers, who have always been loyal to the great leader's high statehood aims, said that they would unite closely around the President on this glorious path and fulfil their duties with great determination and responsibility.
In connection with the Memorial Day, the rich and interesting expositions were viewed at the Heydar Aliyev Museum of the Ministry, films, as well as photo and video slides were shown. On this eve, the employees of the ministry visited our servicemen treated in the hospital and presented them gifts, as well as donations were made to the YASHAT Foundation to support the families of the wounded and martyrs.
