The application submission period for the competition announced on April 17 for the recruitment of State Enforcement Officers has ended. In this regard, the Competition Commission of the Ministry of Justice informs that the written examination for candidates participating in the competition will be held on July 12, 2026.
The computer-based exam, to be held at the State Examination Center’s electronic examination facility located at 50 S.S. Akhundov Street, Binagadi District, Baku, will begin at the time specified on the exam admission slip.
The test examination is conducted by the Center on a paid basis. Accordingly, each candidate must obtain an exam admission slip by registering on the Center's official website and paying the applicable fee.
During the examination, candidates will be presented with a total of 100 questions, including 60 questions on the legislation applied in the activities of an enforcement officer and 40 questions designed to assess their ability to draw logical conclusions, general knowledge level, general outlook, and communication skills. Each question on legislation will be assessed with 1 point, while each question on the ability to draw logical conclusions, general knowledge level, general outlook, and communication skills will be assessed with 0.5 points. Candidates who score 55 or more out of the possible 80 points in the written examination will be admitted to the interview stage.

It should be noted that the following persons specified in subparagraphs 1.7.1–1.7.4 of the “Regulation on the Rules for Conducting Competitions and Interviews with Candidates for Admission to Service in Justice Bodies”, approved by Decree No. 673 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 13 December 2007, are exempt from the written examination stage of the competition:
- persons serving in positions within the prosecutor’s office and other law enforcement agencies where special or military ranks are provided;
- persons holding administrative positions in other state bodies within the civil service;
- persons holding a Doctor of Sciences degree in the field of law;
- persons who have previously served as judges
Persons who have successfully passed the written examination stage of the competition, as well as persons exempted from this examination who wish to participate in the interview, must submit the documents specified in paragraph 2.7 of the “Rules for Conducting the Competition and Mandatory Training for Admission to Service as State Enforcement Officers in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan” to the Human Resources Department of the Ministry within 15 working days starting from July 13.
Candidates who meet the requirements established by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Service in Justice Bodies” based on the documents they submit will be admitted to the second stage of the competition – the interview.
