Professional development training sessions have been held at the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice for employees of state and non-governmental institutions with the aim of enhancing their professional skills.

A total of 266 participants took part in the training sessions held in 21 groups.

Within the framework of the training programme, participants attended lectures on “Rule-making”, “Practical Issues of Labour Legislation”, “Administrative Proceedings Legislation”, “Theoretical and Practical Issues of Pension Legislation”, “Legal Writing”, “Research Methods”, “Competition Law” and “Contract Law”, as well as participated in practical sessions.

At the end of the programme, certificates were presented by the Academy of Justice to participants who successfully passed the examination. Final reports on the results of the training sessions will be submitted to the relevant institutions.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Civil Service”, civil servants holding positions requiring higher legal education in the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Judicial-Legal Council and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), as well as civil servants serving in positions requiring higher legal education in state bodies of the 2nd and 5th categories, are regularly engaged in professional development and advanced training programmes at the Academy of Justice. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of public administration and improving the quality of legal services.
