By an Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 10 October 2026, two justice officers were appointed as judges of courts of first instance.
Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov met with the justice officers appointed as judges.
Congratulating the newly appointed judges, the Minister wished them success in their future professional endeavours. He emphasised the significant responsibility associated with judicial appointment and highlighted the importance of professionalism, impartiality and commitment to the rule of law in the administration of justice.
It was noted that the experience gained and professional knowledge acquired in the justice authorities would play an important role in the newly appointed judges’ future work. These appointments will contribute to strengthening the judicial system with experienced professionals and improving the quality of the administration of justice.
During the meeting, the newly appointed judges expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and emphasised that they would fulfil their duties conscientiously and responsibly, in compliance with the requirements of the legislation.
