On the occasion of 27 September – Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the staff of the Ministry visited the Second Alley of Honor. Fresh flowers were laid at the graves of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands, including martyr Ruhin Khalilov, a member of the justice service, and their memory was commemorated with deep respect.
A commemorative event dedicated to Remembrance Day was subsequently held at the Ministry of Justice.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Justice Abiddin Huseynov, Member of Parliament Tahir Mirkishili, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry Chingiz Ganizade, family members of the Ministry’s employees who were martyred, and members of the Ministry’s staff.
The memory of the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence.
The speakers noted that the cherished memory of our martyrs is commemorated with profound respect by the Azerbaijani people. It was emphasized that the historic Victory was achieved under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev through the national unity and solidarity of our people. The national solidarity and determination demonstrated by the Azerbaijani people during the 44-day Patriotic War were highlighted as having played an important role in achieving the historic Victory. It was stressed that the heroism and sacrifice of our martyrs serve as an example for future generations.
