On the occasion of 8 November – Victory Day, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Justice visited the Second Alley of Honor. During the visit, tribute was paid to the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, including Ruhin Khalilov, a Ministry employee who voluntarily participated in the Patriotic War and demonstrated heroism. Flowers were laid on their graves.
Ruhin Khalilov, an adviser at the Ministry of Justice’s Enforcement Service and a Class I Justice Officer, was martyred on 21 October 2020 during the battles in the direction of Gubadli district. In recognition of his heroism, he was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Fatherland”, “Brave Warrior”, “For the Liberation of Jabrayil” and “For the Liberation of Gubadli”, as well as the 3rd Class Order “For Service to the Fatherland”, pursuant to the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry’s staff subsequently watched the film “44”, which portrays the heroic chronicle of the Patriotic War.
