Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Ayylchiyev during his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.
Farid Ahmadov congratulated Almaz Ayylchiyev on his appointment to the new position and wished him success in his responsible work.
During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic are at a high level and that mutual visits by the heads of state make an important contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
It was noted that cooperation between the justice ministries of the two countries is based on a strong legal framework, with exchanges of experience carried out in areas such as notariat, the penitentiary system, probation, mediation and forensic examination.
The sides exchanged views on further developing existing cooperation between the justice ministries of the two countries, implementing new initiatives, as well as strengthening mutual cooperation in the fields of law and justice within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
At the end of the meeting, the sides prepared a Cooperation Programme and agreed to sign it at a later stage.
